Art has always been my way of communicating the beauty I see in the world. Around three years ago I was graduating from Old Dominion University, and was finishing my undergrad chapter. I was terrified of what the next steps would be after undergrad career, but also extremally excited for the next chapter in my life. Art has always been my calling, regardless of the material. In undergrad I used Art to communicate my journey through my childhood trauma; and help others be able to relate to the strength and chapters of life. I graduated undergrad with a degree in Metalsmithing & Clinical Psychology, and I was unsure of what I would do with these degrees. I wanted to be able to bring both of my passions together to create an experience that will change peoples lives. Because art has the power to do that, and it continues to change my life as well.
During Undergrad at Old Dominion University, I focused on my Arts and clinical psychology degrees. I loved both sides of the knowledge, and I wanted to be able to merge them. After years of performance art, I started to love the emotion that came from someone seeing themselves in a new light. It was a truly transformative experience for the individual and myself as an artist. Art has the power to heal and transform, and my goal is to continue exploring the intersection between art and psychology in my future work.
My first performance piece was called Breaking the Silence. It referenced my process of being raped by my brother for so many years, and also overcoming it. This piece was nationally known for many years and helped countless humans get help and seek resources to process their trauma. Doing this performance allowed me to understand how influential art can be and how much you can change someone's life.
Every day we welcome clients into our studio and help them find themselves again. We are artists showing their true beauty and allowing them to see for themselves. I want to help you realize that we have the power to change people's lives every day someone comes into our studio. And every day, we do that. Boudoir photography is truly an art form, and it goes far beyond just snapping a photo. It's about capturing the essence of a person and revealing their true beauty in a way that they may have never seen before. It can be a transformative experience that can help someone see themselves in a new light and gain a newfound sense of confidence. The power of boudoir photography is incredible, and it truly has the ability to change someone's life for the better.
"“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”

I always relate to this quote because of how powerful our experience can be, but yet how people will still look at us like we direct porn or some shit.
